E30 Medium Case diff

Trying my luck here.

Looking for a 3.25 case diff. But anything longer than a 3.46 will be considered.

Must be medium case!

Preferably located in Auckland.

I would say 2.78 is too long for me.

Ideally 3.2x or even 3.15 or 3.3x.

2.78 is odd. What did that come out of?

There is a 3.23 medium case on trademe currently, apparently E34/32 fitment. Not the cheapest though, given it has to be freighted up from Fielding. The E30 experts here will be able to tell you if the case will fit with the correct rear cover or not. Failing that, take it to a diff builder and have them swap the gearsets into a 188mm E30 housing, will probably owe you a bit by the time its in the car.

I'm trying to avoid the down time. Hopefully someone on here has one. Otherwise may have to send it to the diff builders and might might as well get an LSD put in at the same time
