1988 (or 1995) E30 325i Wagon...

Anyone familiar with the car below? Seemed a bit too good to be true...

Imported in 1996 from the UK, looks to have been written off recently and now plates from a '95 320 wagon have been fitted.

Anyone have any ideas?

More than likely a registration error, VIN is right, probably because it's an Import from UK?

Most E30 Tourings seem to be from the UK & the majority are manual. Maybe Ron needs/wants one of these too

This was on one of the BMW Facebook pages recently and I queried that. Owner assured me it was just a registration error and that 95 was the year it was brought in or something.

Imagine how many times you'd have to explain that if you ever took it to a euro meet 0.o

Yes. Unfortunately a simple registration error on import. The vin on the car matches all details on car jam. Is an 88 touring. Was at the Euro Car Club meet a few weekends back.
