Matth5 471 Report post Posted March 13, 2016 Looked into getting myself one but I when I browse by car models and choose E9x with CIC it says "IMPORTANT INFOMATION: Japanese spec BMW is not supported...." My E92 is a Jap import with CIC iDrive but it's been set to English, radio region set to NZ and loaded with NZ maps. Would it work? treone 651 Report post Posted March 13, 2016 I initially looked into dynavin as an iDrive/sat nav replacement. However when speaking to an local supplier/installer, including dynavin products, they recommended not to go down this route (according to them they had too many issues with the dynavin product). After doing my own 'research' the Dension product seems to be best suited to my needs and budget - I'm really just wanting USB connection with ipod/iPhone connection as a back up. Don't need BT and all the other fancy stuff at this stage. And anything has got to be a step up from The Hits radio station! And if I get my Run DMC disc out of the single slot CD then I'll be real happy lol. Fully aware also of the possible compatibility issue with Jap imports.
