3 SERIES 93 Report post Posted March 23, 2016 Had mine for 10 months. Two items I've had to deal with. * Water Pump / thermostat * Ignition coils Make sure you get the car checked by a BMW service agent and buy a decent warranty. Autosure or the like. It's paid for itself with the above two items I've had to deal with.
Matth5 471 Report post Posted March 23, 2016 Definitely get a specialist to inspect it. The fact it has a WOF and AA inspection just tells you there isn't anything obvious. Autosure warranty is good but it rules out mods, and many people love to mod 335is for power because it's so easy. They're awesome cars though, love mine. As above, my warranty has also paid for itself. Waterpump and charge pipe went on mine. Waterpump was a small leak so wasn't urgent, charge pipe exploded after flashing the BMW Performance Power kit so I replaced with an aftermarket metal one.
