LemonHunter 583 Report post Posted March 24, 2016 I have a pfl e30 with what i think is an m20b23 out of an e21, i.e. jet ecu etc. I want to drop the engine into my e30 320 that runs motronic. Neal 512 Report post Posted March 24, 2016 Just double check the e21 2.3 engine first. These where prone to head cracking. Any use of water and be weary. Personally I thought the e21 efi had better midrange going by butt dyno. I had both a e21 & e30 323i , The e21 used plenty more gas though. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
