pommy 33 Report post Posted April 11, 2017 so.... reluctantly I recently sold my M3!!! With the thought of the wife, parking her car in the garage & trying to take over..... I figured I needed to search for another project. I do miss selling my last E30 so looked for another one & found a rolling body with good bones.( plates were still live (on hold) and budget wise thought I could just build it back up as time/wife allows....(have a young son) its a 320i auto, with electric sunroof. As it is currently stripped of interior It has got me thinking whether I build it back to stock or a fun track car. not sure! happy to hear anyone's thoughts on which direction to go down? or If I built it back to stock would it be better for its value? its not a motorsport or anything at the end of the day! Plans are to drop a m52 2.8 in it & manual conversion, again budget wise temporarily will have to drop in a m20 b25.
eliongater 718 Report post Posted April 12, 2017 An M52b28 is arguably the same price or cheaper than an m20 of decent quality

pommy 33 Report post Posted April 19, 2017 The Donor parts car turned up yesterday. Spent most of today stripping it down ie: all the manual conversion stuff! And any interior parts I might need along the way.... I am also going to to try & convert the rear drums to disc.
