Ahmedsinc 414 Report post Posted April 28, 2017 Bought a 328i coupe for parts recently with what I assumed were fake BBS wheels. turns out they're legit 089s, 17x8 40ET (!) As to be expected they're a little banged up and impossibly filthy - what do you guys use to remove the years of baked on brake dust, road tar and other nasties? Michael. 2313 Report post Posted April 28, 2017 I'd put those on a lathe and clean them up with some scoring pads / sand paper then given them a new paint job. Too far gone for a clean by the looks.
