Lucan 196 Report post Posted November 22, 2017 FYI Purchased an EWS bypassed (IMMO off) DME and the EWS module that came with it was faulty, shorted once I connected the battery and proceeded to melt an EWS module ground (pin 9) wire. So now I have to trace the dead/burnt wire up under the dash across to the passenger side choc block and find out why random accessory’s stay powered when the ignitions off. exextatic 111 Report post Posted November 22, 2017 If the DME has a true EWS delete, you can do without the EWS module. Just join the two higher-gauge wires together at the EWS module (pins 2 and 3, I believe), which will let the starter activate. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
