francoisv 466 Report post Posted August 19, 2018 Probably been asked a few times, but what is the best oil to use for an E30 M42 318i with 208,000km? Penrite's site has the wrong engine oil, and now there is a ticking noise after the oil change. They claim 20w60 was the right stuff, however that might have been to heavy / thick.
