Stevo 1 Report post Posted September 15, 2018 Hey all I'm looking at bringing in a F10 from the UK but want to check a few things first; - how hard is it to change from miles to km's? - assuming the radio is easy enough to change to NZ frequencies? - will the Nav work straight away or can it be easily reprogrammed to NZ, or does it need new hardware? Cheers Steve

sobanoodle 45 Report post Posted September 15, 2018 Or just use Google and save yourself a few hundreds. UK to NZ conversion is way easier than Japan to NZ.

Cheers Steve 1. Easy to change the odometer to km (idrive setting). It's possible to change the speedo dial to display km only (UK is mph large / kph small) relatively inexpensively. Alternatively the newest / highest spec f10's have electronic dials. A new kombi (speedo) unit is expensive! 2. radio should work straight away on NZ frequencies. 3. should essentially just require a new (NZ) map to suit whatever idrive generation you have.
