BMW Owner 1 Report post Posted April 29, 2019 Hi, I have a 2005 BMW X5 and was wondering if there is a quick re programming solution for turning off the "Accept" option on the screen, so that I don't have to manually push it every time I start the car. E30 325i Rag-Top 2956 Report post Posted April 29, 2019 Unless you have a car with the Australian country code, option 810, as it is part of the ADR rules. NZ new cars can also have this option. You would need to remove the coding for that option first before the firmware update can make the change.
sobanoodle 45 Report post Posted April 29, 2019 Carly coding app should take care of that fairly easily? See you if can find someone local with a dongle and app installed and ask them to do some coding for you.
BMW Owner 1 Report post Posted April 30, 2019 Many thanks for the reply’s. As Dr Google wasn’t all that helpful, it looks as if coding is the answer. Cheers
