Jacko 2390 Report post Posted 9 hours ago They do their best to hide the BMW pn but, BO/BW/HK are fairly straightforwards These are the doors and rear parcel shelf units for E87. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002297903313.html https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001544037965.html
BreakMyWindow 2003 Report post Posted 8 hours ago Are front tweeters as easy as plugging them in to the spare connectors on the door mid bass’s? Not sure what spec is in my black 130 but it’s got the fr door and rear shelf speakers and 2 “subs” under the front seats.

I havent seen an E87 yet that actually has tweeters in the pods factory Japanese and NZ markets both seem to have got the absolute trashiest stereo options. The stock underseat subs are actually really good, they are just driven by the front door speaker channels though so sound limp as sh*t. Running them off their own amp completely changes the way all the speakers sound.
BreakMyWindow 2003 Report post Posted 7 hours ago Awesome. Think I’ll take a punt on a set of tweets and mid-bass in Harman Kardon flavour for the front doors. Fr+r channels I’m guessing can’t be bridged to give some extra doof doofs to the front?

Im not sure, I put a focal monoblock 350W amp under the boot floor and ran new wiring for them (subs are 4 ohm, but theyre running in parallel). Not going to be doing laps with cap on backwards and number plate shaking, but its genuinely one of the best most balanced car stereos Ive ever played with, compared to the murky mess that BMW sold them as.
