FS: 4 x Nankang NS-2R Semi-Slicks 225/45r17 5+mm

Hi there,

These are surplus to requirement so I'm putting them out there cheap. Two track sessions and no punctures or blisters. Wear is pretty even across the face and there's 5+ mm of tread left on all four.

Any idea how old they are? Do they have a moulding date on them anywhere?

I'm thinking 4 years... happy to look for markings, will it just be a date or some type of code do you know?

It’s normally something like a production week - 14 04 20 for example. Which reads as week 14 which is in April (04) of the year (2020), that’s the Toyo version.

Usually moulded into the sidewall in a kind of box or raised area, if that makes sense.

Don’t hold them for me, I am at the interested stage, but I need to double check that size and profile for my rims and car the 45 profile possibly makes them a bit big.

Have done some quick maths, and the 225 width is not a problem, but that combined with the 45 profile will make them a lot bigger roller diameter than I need. Bugger - good set of tyres at a good price!
