geeveejay 4 Report post Posted June 15, 2020 Hi Can anyone recommend a friendly independent preferably North Auckland who could so some work ( probably a smoke test to start with ) on my 2001 M54 powered Z3. I am chasing p0174 and p0171 codes and I am probably reaching the end of my knowledge and ability ( and equipment come to that !) I did try emailing a few but only one came back to me and that was Bellars and they said they don't do older cars, which did surprise me as I didn't see the Z3 as that old. M3AN 4016 Report post Posted June 15, 2020 I'm also surprised Bellars said that, must be a new policy. They did a smoke test on my 1997 M3 about 4 years ago. As Andrew says, Bavarian Motors in Glenfield or if you're happy with a quick blat up the motorway the team at HellBM (forum sponsor) up in Silverdale might be able to help you out. I know some garages aren't keen on DIYers.
