Gorrington 24 Report post Posted September 20, 2020 Hi guys, looking at buying a car. The guy says its a genuine Msport, I think its an executive with a few additions. The report I get doesn't say executive or Msport. Any ideas which it is ? Thanks.
Eagle 1679 Report post Posted September 20, 2020 You'd need to try with a proper options decoder site like mdecoder.com (still works sometimes once a day) If its a genuine msport it will have the cosmetic msport options eg shadowline trim, bumpers, interior //M sill trims, sport seats etc. Ive never seen a car optioned that has all the cosmetic options but no msport suspension, so if it has all that its probably genuine. Eagle 1679 Report post Posted September 20, 2020 No that's vin numbers that were recently decoded. You can pay decode the vin i believe for a couple of $ based some what someone said on this forum.

hqstu 780 Report post Posted September 23, 2020 That car was on the assembly line directly in front of mine Mine is ex Japan though. I've run your VIN, I have subscribed to a VIN decoder service, free ones don't seem to work these days. It's a genuine Motorsport, NZ new it appears (or Australian - close as it gets). Build sheet here. Vehicle information GF11839.pdf
