shadowline paint

Recommended Posts

If you are simply touching up existing Genuine BMW shadowline it will be difficult to get an exact match in terms of gloss so I would start with a Matt and see how that looks. For the full conversion try Dulux paint from Placemakers or Mitre10 (cant remember which one) If you are painting over chrome you will also need some fine sand paper and an etching primer (Super Cheap Auto). The Dulux goes on nice and smooth and seems pretty good. I did mine in Satin Black. It will look a little too glossy when you first paint it, but give it a week or three and it will dull down quite a bit. At that stage you could then protect it with some car wax.
