Herbmiester 927 Report post Posted June 9, 2021 (edited) A whileback I saw an image of a an oem BMW towbar that had an aftermarket clamp on flange that sat below the ball. This seemed to allow you to fit things like a bike rack as it could bottom out on the flange. Does anyone know who makes them and where to find them? balancerider 758 Report post Posted June 9, 2021 Hi John - if you have the BMW OEM detachable bar you can buy the updated towing hook that allows you to swap between 1 7/8" and 50mm balls and has a flat surface for bike rack mount. I got mine through Fabian in parts dept at Coombes Johnston in Hamilton.

balancerider 758 Report post Posted June 9, 2021 I think it was $250ish with both balls and a storage bag.
