325GRANT 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2006 does anyone have or know where i can find wiring diagrams for an E30 fuel pump E30 T.P.S and E30 idle control solenoid?
Guest Andrew Report post Posted May 21, 2006 The e30 TPS is only WOT and IDLE - I'm using an e36 TPS on my setup (little bracket for it). Don't bother wiring in the idle control solenoid - you don't need it.

ducatiss 1 Report post Posted May 26, 2006 WOT = Wide open Throttle.
325GRANT 0 Report post Posted May 26, 2006 so an E30 TPS will only signal if fully open or fully closed? and E36 will signal from closed to open?
mops 4 Report post Posted May 26, 2006 fuel pump is controlled through relay by ECU (ecu grounding relay) tps is a switch type, 3 pin. ground in the middle, grounds 1st pin on no throttle other pin on full throttle. anything in between in considered "partial throttle" idle soilenoind is pwm type, middle pin is +12 and the other a regounds - you should drive them with pwm signal alternatively

325GRANT 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 you still want photo of engine bay? yea the bracket for the e36 tps if you can get a camera in there, if not no worries.is the e36 tps variable? thanks for all the help
Guest Andrew Report post Posted May 29, 2006 Yes e36 TPS is variable - (you need it to be). Pretty much any bosch TPS should do the trick. Not sure what signal the Link uses - prob a 0 - 5V to give a throttle closed percentage. The e30 obviously doesn't need one as it uses the AFM to rougly calculate load (or throttle angle) Can't get a clear pic of the bracket without taking a bunch of sh*t off.
