need help

[hot 520i 0]

hi guys Im about to put a pod on to my 520i i just need to know what to do??? Im going to make a nice air box to go around it to as i know hot air is not good.

As you say, keep hot air off it, so build a system around it that draws cool air from the front.

Easier is probably to keep the standard airbox and replace the factory filter with a flat panel K&N filter and draw the air from the front as per standard.... imo pods are more hassle than they are worth..

unless you need the extra air flow, ie if you have a massive turbo.

I agree aswell. I have just kept the standard box and replaced the filter with a k&n. Sounds great.
