Having a look at auctions at the moment, prices are obviously attractive as is but once you factor in freight, on roads, compliance etc etc, do you still end up better off? Good/bad experiences? Risk/reward ratio? Add another 3k on top for the recently introduced "you're not buying a half dead Nissan Leaf" tax. The auctions are still a huge risk if you are buying blind.
