Gus 5 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 another good sim from simbin (makers of GTR) so awesome...realistic old school car driving...more fun than GTR, mainly due to powersliding everywhere...has a BMW CSL too! so get a momo logitech wheel ($177ish from ascent), get the game ($40, so cheap) and LAN that sh*t up. Ring battles are awesome www.gtlegends.com

my_e36 43 Report post Posted May 29, 2006 Not quite a steering wheel for games person. I prefer the Microsoft XBox 360 controller for Windows. $60-ish from major game stores or Dick Smith. Must admit, one of the best driving sim on PC for a while, probably ever so far.
Guest Andrew Report post Posted May 29, 2006 The physics in the game is incredible - you will not find a better more "real" driving simulator - having said that - it makes the game quite hard. You need to wheel - the force feedback effects are OK when the wheel is set up right.
E30stz 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2006 wrong - download the demo of R-Factor.. start toying with the car and then you have a game that has better physics than that. Can even adjust oversteer / understeer etc, pwns hard.
Carl 3 Report post Posted May 30, 2006 (edited) Why do games like this never come to console :rambo: I hate playing games on computers, havnt done it since C64s were new High resolution on a TV means having a decent plasma/lcd with a new generation console, which is only currently xbox360, and the refresh and contrast makes for annoying probs.E: Can't beat consoles for multiplayer fun though, used to play 8 player micro-machines back in uni using two multi-taps and 8 controllers, made for some cool drinking games.
