Heat sheilds???

Ive got a 1991 320i and the ceramic heat shiels have wasted away and falling apart any suggestions on what to do about this?

Don't need them.

I have had no problems after removing mine when I had to fix some broken studs.

Hahaha

Then I used some wrx manifold gaskets when reassembling. Just chop them up to they would fit

um, buy new ones?

there to protect spark plug wires, and reduce under bonnet temps

the factory put em there, why wouldnt you (yes i dont subscribe to this all the time)

Gus has a point......

But

My leads have being fine and havent notcied higher than usaul temps

but good point gus

I have two sets of heat shielding for 320/323 which makes 4 pieces in total...don't need all 4.
