WYZEUP 283 Report post Posted July 31, 2023 Hi Team, I am currently looking to retire my e46 with the way fuel price's are going and it just being a daily motorway commuter pretty much the fuel consumption on the M54 is quite high - around 12l/100km So currently looking at the F20 series 118i/120i (alternative is a golf), dont need a big car as we use my wife's car for all the general running around. Is there really any difference between the 2 other than a little bit of power/torque? Is there anything to look out for with these cars? Any benefits/disadvantages between the N13 & the B38 in the LCI. Any advice/info would be great Thanks Guys
charles28 136 Report post Posted August 5, 2023 Early F20 116i,118i,120i all use the N13 engine in various states of tune. 116i model tends to be the cheapest although option not too well optioned. I've had one of these 116i for a year as a daily with a stage 1 tune to take it from 136 to 200hp. My real world average economy is 8.7L per 100km, however easy 5s on a road trip.
