BM WORLD 1283 Report post Posted June 4, 2006 I need help from someone who has done this change please you will need the ecu to match with the key and the ignition system with the code box so it will start .otherwise just bolt it in . i have someor the electrical parts if you need (ecu, ignitions , coils etc ) also have a set of factory extractors from a z3. call 021433600 or 2997389 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
keen 6 Report post Posted June 5, 2006 hi there I have the coils and an ecu but it is from an auto. do you have an ecu from a manual?or is it not nessacery for, a auto to manual change?Can i not get a a sparky to convert the ignition over?And is it possible to stay with the same loom and piggy back the extra sensors into the exsisting plug? i was told there are only 3 more. is that correct?
