duluth 41 Report post Posted September 13, 2023 Hi there, I have an E39 530i 2001 with I believe a ZF transmission. Gave the car a wash this morning with pressure washer. Went to go to the warehouse and it shifts very badly. Clunked into reverse and then started slipping in 3rd gear. Gave it a scan with generic scanner and got code P0733 which is Incorrect gear ratio for 3rd. Any ideas? It was shifting perfectly before the wash as I had drove it this morning. *Glenn* 854 Report post Posted September 13, 2023 You may have damaged or interfered with one of the wheel speed sensors with the water blaster. A generic scanner will not help you with this.
