Z3bra 32 Report post Posted December 4 Hey Folks, I finally pulled the trigger on a VRSF downpipe on my F30 340i M-Sport, only to find out that the high-flow catted one isn't in stock for the rest of the year. Does anyone have insight into whether the race catted one will make me fail my WOF? Or are there any other considerations to take into account? The race catted one is cheaper too, so there's that, but I assume there must be some downside? Thanks Z
Eagle 1669 Report post Posted December 4 As long as there is a cat convertor in place its all legal. NZ has no emission testing so those related downsides dont worry most people. Im assuming you'd do some of tune?
Z3bra 32 Report post Posted December 4 I can't seem to find anything about the race ca" version. The high-flow one is 200 cell, but it looks like the race cat version might be catless. I'm probably screwing up the terminology badly. I already tuned my car with Bootmod3, now moving into Stage 2+ territory with the downpipe and high pressure fuel pump. Unlikely to be caught tbh.
