Hi all, couple of problems have popped up..

Firstly getting low tyre pressure warnings. Checked pressures and they're OK, reset the system but the problem comes straight back. Now a new problem has appeared, she won't switch into sport mode, just stays in comfort.

Could the two be linked as the computer is telling me not to exceed 130kph..

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Most likely linked, will stay in comfort if there is a warning up in the system.

I take it your car got the “tyre pressure monitor” system, so try another reset. Mine often requires a couple of stabs at it, especially on cold mornings.

Correct, a TPMS failure will disable both DSC and Sport mode (on the OG M2).

@Gorrington - I can possibly code the TPMS system to off for you if you need a short-term fix, and back on again at a later date if required.

Ok, I reset it three times and drove it for half an hour. Eventually the reset worked and I now have access to Sport again.

But still got the fault showing. ???

Should have stuck with my analogue E39 M5. I'm thinking about selling the M2 and going back to the old M5.
