You'll be suprised with the differance between smooth and ribbed, or even a fine looking polished alloy pipe. Looking sweet dude! :mosh:

m325i 709 Report post Posted September 5, 2004 Thats a straight car, nice one. How hard is it to get the new rocker cover on? That looks mean.
*sic 1 Report post Posted September 5, 2004 Thats a straight car, nice one. How hard is it to get the new rocker cover on? That looks mean. very very simple, take it to a mech and they will most likely do it for you for free, or tell you how, on a honda its like 6 bolts and away you go, sometimes you need a new seal though : /
Guest Andrew Report post Posted September 6, 2004 Thats a straight car, nice one. How hard is it to get the new rocker cover on? That looks mean. 8 bolts probably.. one new gasket if the other one is a bit tired.
OLLIE 26 Report post Posted September 6, 2004 yeah 8 bolts on the actual cover 2 on the intake bracket and 1 hose to get in the way, 1 gasket and 4 half moon seals (2 at each end), a tube of loctite NO.2 gasket sealant and you're away. be sure to tighten each bolt bit by bit to ensure it goes on straight and seals. ideally a torque wrench should be used.
