Sorry guys - but I need to whip the site down for a while today.

It's much easier to go ahead and just put the new site on and develop it while it's uploaded. The current forum software has lots of functionality (like user profiles) due to the fact that the server was upgraded so i'd like to get the new software on ASAP.

So apoligies - the site will be down (those with admin permission to override the site closed notice please don't use it)

Once its up again - the forum should be fully functional - but it may be ugly (likewise for the front page).

Will be switching site off in 30 mins.

Awesome to see the forum working off a backup

The main page is still turned off - and the forum WILL go down again. The techs from Invision are looking at the problem and will hopefully take care of it.

I'm sure Andrew is working on the colour scheme - it will probably be the default colour included for the forum software. Suits a 1970's Camaro forum though.

Blue grey white and back - a mix of those colours would be sa-weet Andy.

Hey Andrew, really good stuff!! Website looks like it is going to be a cracker...

I am with the lighter colours option though. This dark grey colour hides a lot of highlighting and text on my side.

But all thumbs up whatever happens..!!!

So far i'm working on the skinning of the new site, once that is nailed and sorted the forum will be integrated into the site and share it's skin, i'm big on fucntionality and style at the same time so don't worry.

it's good to get feedback about what people like though, keep it up. The skinning will take a while longer because its for the whole site and has to take into consideration many functional parts of it. bear with us.
