Close ratio five speed

Recommended Posts

drug money considering it is not a 265 box!

Yes but when you consider a Metric Mechanic close ratio 4 speed (232) will set you back about $7000 NZ by the time it's shipped and

I've been pricing up a conversion to a sierra box with a quaffe kit - I'm up to $3500 and still counting. So $1500 was starting to look not so bad.

Be aware that this box on trademe won't fit a 2002 ( I am assuming from your pseudonym that is what you plan fitting it to) as the small sixes (M20)have a different bolt pattern to the M10 and big sixes. If you are thinking of going the Quaife route, spend the extra and get the dog box, the "clubman" synchro boxes are not very good, lots of synchro problems especially on high revving cars.
