bravo 35 Report post Posted August 30, 2006 Not all police carry the glocks just as not all police will carry the tasers - only those specifically trained to use them can carry them and they remain locked in the car until such time as it is deemed prudent to get them out. In other words, only those police that are in the specific departments that are called to arrest violent/armed offenders have the weapons in their car, and they would only take them out of the car if responding to a call where it was known the offender was liekly to violently resist arrest, or was carrying a weapon.
