Jazzbass 1 Report post Posted August 30, 2006 I thought I'd see what my car looked like with a set of pinstripes, as its quite plain. I went to the Alpina Japan site and found out that a set of Alpina stripes is about $NZ750??? WTF?? http://www.bmw-alpina.co.jp/automobiles/parts/5/index.html

Guest Spargo Report post Posted August 30, 2006 Save it for the genuine alpinas imho. Some of the 80's alpinas had the best "chest wig" pinstripes ever.

Guest Spargo Report post Posted August 30, 2006 (edited) For sure, they're not cheap! Probably cheaper here: http://www.alpina-usa.com/ Some dude was offering replica alpina stripes for 250 or something on trademe Edited August 30, 2006 by Spargo
bravo 35 Report post Posted August 30, 2006 (edited) I could get pinstripes PAINTED on my car forless than $750. Give your local signwriter a 2D picture of the Alpina stripes and they should be able to whip some out of vinyl for around $100 I got 8 bmw logos that used three different coloured bits of vinyl (Black white and blue) cut into the correct shapes and overlaid on each other and put onto a backing paper for $80 - a one or two colour pinstripe will be donkeys piss. DCEIVN 0 Report post Posted September 20, 2006 I reckon alpina stripes look badass on older cars like e28, e30 and e32 (even e34 with the right kit) thinking of having them painted on mine when i get my paintjob done
