We have a 1983 320i 2000 5 speed manual advertised for sale and we are getting questions about whether it is an e30 how do I tell ? 2002 1 Report post Posted October 4, 2006 Try entering the last 7 digits of the chassis number on www You should then find out a bunch of stuff about your car. Note the chassis number should be on a small plate at the front RHS of the engine bay (at least it is on my son's E30) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
