speakeasy 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2004 (edited) okay. this is the deal. had a strange "woowoowoo" from my front right wheel, so i thought it was the bearing... on closer inspection there was no play in the wheel, and no vibrations through the spring/shock so bearings were ruled out. then i noticed excessive brake dust.... got the car up on a hoist and found the wheel in question not to be spinning freely. aha! siezed caliper... but no took the caliper apart, not the problem... sure, i could just take it to a mechanic, but im pretty keen to get to the bottom of it... has any one got any ideas??? shes got abs... could this be the cause? how can i find out? brake fluid levels are sweet too. it also had uneven wear on the pads... one was a good 5mm worn than the other... thoughts?
