Its all a matter of opinion isnt it.I wouldnt want a set of racing wheels if you paid me. The price they eventually reached means different things to different people. There was a time when I was just starting out at work that I woudlve bought a whole car for that price. Nearly twenty years later and things are very different. All of a sudden it doesnt seem too much to have a genuine set of Alpinas. They are the only set of 16' Alpinas Ive seen in 2 1/2 years. There is a price for exclusivity. Thats the only reason I think they're overpriced - they appear to have been butchered, and could hardly be called mint. speedyg 16 Report post Posted November 24, 2006 I asked that question on the auction but he never answered. Alfas are 4 x 98mm so I imagined they had been butchered. Nice wheels, I should have brought a set back from the UK. I bought some on ebay when I was over there for around 300 pounds but the seller said they got stolen from his garage. Bummer.
