bmwsparkle 3 Report post Posted December 11, 2006 you'll lose your black plates. Dont do it man!
bravo 35 Report post Posted December 11, 2006 Yeah, you can't get a personalised plate in the "general release" series ie a plate marked for general release like your black plates, so if you ever change the plates to personalised, the number on your black plate is lost forever essentially. Tell the WOF place to suck eggs they are not allowed to fail you on plate-related items. You don't even need plates to get a WOF.
ED1RTY 2 Report post Posted December 11, 2006 so in theory i could just get a custom 'black plate' made up with my p.plate details. i mean the black plates are pretty basic. not like you could tell the diff between a custom one and a whorry old non reflective black plate? 318isCoupe 0 Report post Posted December 12, 2006 Probably even get your standard personalised plate repainted haha. Someone find something in the laws that bans having a black plate with white letters?
