Cale 36 Report post Posted December 13, 2006 Hey everyone. This has been in this forum before but I cannot find it, so I'm sorry to bring this up again I have had my car serviced as you do and in the instrument display the service indicator light is in the yellow (sometimes red) and the "oilservice" and "inspection" lights are on. I understand that the proper reset tool on trademe is about $100 Does anyone have a link or any information on how to reset these lights? Many thanks in advance. Andrew 30 Report post Posted December 13, 2006 Cheers Andrew. I'm a bit anxious to try it as i do not have a "fused jumper wire". What do you think? A bit of wire is fine - just make sure you don't put them in the wrong holes.
Carl 3 Report post Posted December 14, 2006 A bit of wire is fine - just make sure you don't put them in the wrong holes.God knows how many times i've just used an old twistie tie to jumper mine. If you get the wrong holes it's not too bad, just make sure the car isn't in gear as you can trigger the starter motor if you get it wrong
