Silver Fox 43 Report post Posted March 2, 2007 (edited) Yeah, got one in one of my cars, seems fine, from memory I paid around $220 in NZ. My LuK clutch was made in Sth Africa. Edited March 2, 2007 by Silver Fox
bravo 35 Report post Posted March 2, 2007 LuK is SA company but some stuff manufactured in Germany. Expect to pay $220-280 in NZ. Will swears by them. I have one. I have a minor clutch prob, but I'm not sure its the clutch kit - pretty sure I have a faulty master cylinder or air in the line. Clutch itself has had a hiding and still doesn't slip. Not high performance, but certainly good replacement for OEM.
drifty325i 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2007 (edited) Had one in my car mate, to be honest i thought it was fairly average. Slip a bit, but only after a bit of hard driving. It was not a bad clutch by anymeans just average imo Edited March 2, 2007 by drifty340i
bravo 35 Report post Posted March 2, 2007 yah - that sums it up. nothing wrong with them, just your average run-of-the-mill.

freakyc 0 Report post Posted March 16, 2007 Luk clutches - no good for towing either. they wear out REAL quick and seem to glaze very easily. get your original plate tested and relined with heavy duty compound from Clutch Systems , pressure plate machined, flywheel machined (if its dodge) and buy a new release bearing. I was going to do this , but opted for the quick solution an LuK clutch - bad mistake.
