clutch kits

Recommended Posts

Yeah, got one in one of my cars, seems fine, from memory I paid around $220 in NZ. My LuK clutch was made in Sth Africa.

LuK is SA company but some stuff manufactured in Germany. Expect to pay $220-280 in NZ. Will swears by them. I have one. I have a minor clutch prob, but I'm not sure its the clutch kit - pretty sure I have a faulty master cylinder or air in the line. Clutch itself has had a hiding and still doesn't slip.

Not high performance, but certainly good replacement for OEM.

Had one in my car mate, to be honest i thought it was fairly average. Slip a bit, but only after a bit of hard driving. It was not a bad clutch by anymeans just average imo

hey so if i was going 2 get a new clutch that hopefully wouldn't slip under brisk driving would be? F&S?(was the name? is that it?) or LUK? its just my standard clutch is starting 2 slip under HEAVy acceleration

Luk clutches - no good for towing either. they wear out REAL quick and seem to glaze very easily. get your original plate tested and relined with heavy duty compound from Clutch Systems , pressure plate machined, flywheel machined (if its dodge) and buy a new release bearing. I was going to do this , but opted for the quick solution an LuK clutch - bad mistake.
