jjs 64 Report post Posted March 5, 2007 The gearbox electrics light has just come on and won't go off... Its an orange light on the dashboard which looks like a cog with an exclamation mark inside it. The car still drives perfectly, but I have stopped driving it in case I do any damage. Does anyone know what this fault could be? Also, can I drive it or is it safer to use another car? Thanks in advance

You should take it in asap to a competent company and get it checked over. It may be something simple, but may be ready to self-destruct. Don't take a chance and drive it all over the place.
