Yuh what i thought to Graham but apparantly not, you have to order 2.

1 does not = one pair unfortunatly.

Sick of the black plates. Just going to europlate the E30

You got to be kidding!? Will - do you know?

If its cheaper to order more at once, I'll get mine with yours and Emma wants some too, but I indicated to her that they were about $50, so if that's for just one plate will have to check with her first.

If you go to standard german plate - qty 2 it's US$56.80 incl delivery. or about NZ$82. which is what I thought they cost, but don't want to order two if that means I get two pair.

You need to look for the specials down the page which offers 2 plates (1 set) for a discount. I found also that if you order 2 sets, postage is cheaper per set, but if you order 3 sets, it takes a big jump again, so 2 sets is the most economical to order. see below..

I know this question has been asked before but just to clarify, you dont need to buy the mounting frames correct? Because you can just fix them with 3m doubled sided tape?

Also when paying by credit card will it automatically work out the currency exchange or do you have to do it yourself? Noob when it comes to buying online...

Cheers Mavrick

With the huge range of plates available from plates, what cop is going to be able to dispute it?? But theres always that risk and knowing your history with the constabulary....

Talking about that - a kamikaze VK holden almost took me out last night - almost got to feel your pain Chris.

Does anyone who has ordered have a zero in their plate?

Next question is how does German Plates deal with zeros?

NZ plates have a strike through the zero. German plates i got off another site have some sort of half arsed strike through, that kinda looks like a Q.

Also if anyone is keen to get 'one' more plate, i'll only be ordering one...

Yeah thats what i had on my old car.

Im a little more nervous about having it on my car now.

There are a few 'europlate' pressers on the net. Anyone know if any of them do a strike through zero?

The sites themselves dont reply to my ramblings!

germanplates.com, europeanplates.com, customeuropeanplates.com, folkdirect.com and autoplates.com all do the german style Zero.

They're all the german plate manufacturers that come up when you search "german plates" in google
