e46 330i m54 3L engine block ,stroker kit crank rods ,pistons etc

Recommended Posts

have a M54B30 330i 3L engine block here .

can be fitted to other models like 323i 325i 328i 523i 525i 528i 728i m52 tu and m54 engine types etc

use parts from it to make a m20 or m50 /m52 type 3L or 3.1L etc

also have a M50/m52 cylinder head for a e36 328i and 323i M52 m50 325i 525i e39 523i 528i e34 525i head

so if any of you guys want engines parts , heads , cranks etc .

let me know

3L engine block , crank , pistons .

come one some one must want to make a e36 330i e34 530i

e30 330i etc .

much better than mucking around trying to ring a little HP out of a 2.5l etc . just chuck in a 3l crank etc

massive power increase

good for e46 328i 330i 323i 325i , later e39 523i 525i 528i 530i , later e38 728i

or if some needs a good block , pistons ,conrods and crank to do a stroker/big bore kit for a m20 or m50 ,m52 block etc.

these engines can be made to have as much power as a 3L m3 etc but with out the M-power costs etc

Brent I looked at doing this to my 328 and it is VERY tempting - looked at achieving close to 200kW with the M3 headers etc that I have.

BUT having just sprung for an X5 and new Ohlins suspension for my bike its lay off the toys for a month or two and finish the current projects.

Some one should buy my E39 manual and toss this in. It would go close to 190kW with the headers already in the 528

do it

cheapish HP you can get .

people spend heaps on cams , manifolds , ecu chips , afm , etc etc all only gain you about 10-20kw at most when this can make 40-60kw more at the wheels easy

I'd say that's a bit of on over estimate.

m54b30 172kw

m52b28 142kw

All info from wikipedia.

And the m54 has a few other features that will improve the hp over the m52

I wouldn't mind this for my m50b25 e30, but not keen to do it myself.

Anyone know who could do the work for me? And more importantly, anyone know how much it would cost?

silver fox got 160rwkw out of his unrestricted M54b30 set up with more potenial if the intake manifold /afm is changed

have seen guys on the net with similer results. even with a m20 set up

i got 112rwkw out of my std e36 328i with headers and e36 325i with a chip

just as a comparrison
