hey guys day dreaming about future plans, has anyone put a 3.0l diesel in a e30? appart from the obvious problem of getting a cheap enough engine what would be required for the swap? obviously would want a manual gearbox aswell.

I think there are lots of 3L diesel engines, maybe be a bit more specific?

Last few days i have put a LSD in the wagon.

LSD internals found on trademe for about $600 and i rebuilt it my self transferring the gear from the old open diff onto the new unit and of course new bearings and seals.

also new powerflex diff bush :)

pleased to report that it is a very tight diff and locks up really nice.

really nice to slide now with all the new sway bars etc.

steering is keeping me busy with that slow rack.
