  1. So Phil and I went for a hoon in the M3s yesterday and came back with some photos (thanks Phil - the master on the camera).

So here goes.... introducing my new E46 m3 (which no doubt you recognise)! I have had it for a few weeks now and it has seen some intensive grooming including clay bar, 3M teflon polish and hand glaze. I'm having a great time with it, intend to do a few things to it to bring it back to 'fresh of the assembly line' standard and look forward to seeing everyone soon.

  2. This morning I ventured up to Hell BM to buy a special dashboard light bulb for my M3.

Upon arrival I was greeted with Ray's smile and an offer... an offer to drive this aformentioned beast.

Ill give you a run down. What a fantastic car. This M3 has the crisp throttle respone I have grown to expect from an E46 M3 but with the unexpected thunder from that awesome S62 V8. Phenominal acceleration, tremendous grip but what struck me the most was how well put together it felt.

Its not easy to mate a highly technical motor to an already highly technical chassis. All of the factory systems work as intended and the car felt totally driveable.

Hats off Mr Reid. When the time comes to spend the cash on an exciting project - your team will have the job. If anyone is looking to do this kind of thing, race car or otherwise, heres your man.

  3. A z3m coupe in black, hooning around town. Filthy dirty, didn't get a good look so can't comment on the condition.

I have met that owner. Its quite uniqe that car, it's a 2002 model with the S54. UK import. Done about a million (hard) kms. But he has had it for a long time. Cool car.

  4. This will be like losing a leg - I was so close to making an offer on your E46 but was too slow - where to from here dylan?

Where too indeed... I dont know. I'll assess what my budget is after the dust has settled and figure it out.
