A couple of weekends ago I had to sneak through 3 red lights, hopefully i didnt get pinged by a camera... I was about to pull onto Bealey ave from Sherbone and about 50m from the lights there was a dodgy looking Guy standing in the middle of the road. Having no patience for f**kwits I didnt go around and stopped infront of him... It was then he looked up with a P crazed look at which point i decided it would be best to go around. As I drove past he started yelling 'did you fkn run over it' and started following the car, having great luck I was stuck on a red light too. I snuck through 3 sets of red lights as he was chasing the car (he was pretty fast actually) and he looked like he had a large weapon concealed under his shirt....

Alright ill check the throttle body today im not sure if it'll be this though as when it hits 4k it has that limiting sound unlike the smooth sound of holding the throttle open at say 3.5k for example, I have already swapped in another ECU with no success.

cant get it past 4k, it feels like its actually limited there if you're driving it and plant boot it changes down and just uses revs below 4k like it was built to have 4k limit if you get me.. Yep its a FL 318i - M40 engine, should i expect a worn cam in it at 132kms though???

Its starting to frustrate me so i went and got some brand new plugs yesterday and chucked them in with no success, the old ones were all yellow and running too hot so i got some colder ones anyway. I also tested it with a second AFM and no success.. I will have to check the timing and exhaust now. The engine revs nice and smoothly straught up to 4k and hits a wall so i have my doubts about it being fuel as it is so consistant

Not everyone is going to have the same opinion as with everything in life so i dont think this should turn into a big flame war because for some of you its just not your cup of tea. Such harsh criticism against something somebody enjoys doesn't usually get anywhere either, and in this case from my point of view wont change a thing. not sure how much sense that makes as im half asleep but im sure you get the jist lol..

how are your high beams tinted?

I dont think they'd get a wof because its too low on one edge, ill take a photo for you in the next day or 2 anyway

I dont want to spend money i dont need to as I have little supply at the moment lol whats the easiest way to check these? Sweet, I will pull out the plugs in mine and check the code on them. Has done it since I bought the car not long ago, it revs nice and smooth untill it hits just over 4k rpm then it seems as though it hits a limiter and just bounces.

Hey guys, im just wanting to test another set of plugs in my 318 before i buy a new set.. Reason being my car is rev limiting at 4k and i cant figure out why, so far ive tried: new leads, different rotor cap, different coil, different computer and its still limiting at 4k, last test is sparkplugs but i wanna see if thats the problem before i go buy a new set... cheers Linden

ive got about 14 barely/unwarrantable 14" tyres, and a stack of 17"s to be torn up, one set of 17's has decent tread but camber wear on the edge >_<

what about engine oil on the tyres??
