Its a 1993. Yeh I would like to go lower, the front needs to come down more than the back. I have B&G springs all round, not super lows, might look at getting some after new years. Thanks for your comments

Hey guys, Just thought I'd put up some pics of my BMW. I've got my euro plates on now, I've pretty much finished with the exterior work. If I'm goin to put anymore money into her I wanna make it move a bit faster... its quite sluggish at times. Conversion maybe? I can't upload pics for some reason so I've put them on imageshack. Cheers! http://img01.picoodle.com/img/img01/6/12/1...3m_d47657c5.jpg http://img01.picoodle.com/img/img01/6/12/1...3m_190b53bb.jpg http://img01.picoodle.com/img/img01/6/12/1...3m_5b1335ad.jpg

I got a mongoose 4 star alarm installed in my e36, its good apart from everytime you open a door after 30 seconds it goes off, so its a pain in the ass when your trying to work on your car, my mechanic especially hates it Also got an added battery backup siren for another $40 just for bit of extra peace of mind... I had an attempted break in in my old libero GT with the same mongoose alarm and the theives only got as far as smashing the rear quarter window n opening a door, I had about $1000 worth of cricket gear in the car at the time!!!

i screwed the buggers in, just measured up some holes n drilled..

Well I got it looked at by a mechanic, he took it for a drive and was amazed at how sluggish it was pre 3,000rpm. He said its most likely to be the fuel filter so he whammed a new one in, aswell as oil change, lube etc. So anyways $342 later I get it back this morning and after driving it today, it didn't fix the problem, its sooo sluggish its unbareable(sp), not to mention dangerous!! It seems a common problem on e36's but it looks like folk in the U.S couldn't find an answer for the problem n there were 60+ pages on it... I'm stuck, what to do?

Thanks for your help. I will have a good check of my spark plugs tonight after work, see if I can see anything out of place. I actually have no idea if my car is vanos or not, I'll search for a thread to see how you can tell Cheers for the link 328imobbin.

Hi guys, Just experiencing a problem at the moment with my bmw. When I put my foot down to accelerate, the engine will make a deepish sound... stutter for a bit... and then eventually kick in. It only happens sometimes, I first noticed it yesterday. I've had a few close calls lately going through roundabouts because I go to accelerate and nothing happens, I'm a sitting duck. Any thoughts as to what the problem could be? My spark plugs were changed about 8,000kms ago, I run the car on 95 octane. Thanks in advance

Hey guys, I've just installed a new sound system and I've discovered this nasty annoying boot rattle. I fixed the numberplate rattle easy but I can't fix the rattle coming from the barel of the boot lock - the button you push to open the boot. I tried pulling off the outside trim that surrounds it and shoved deadening material around it to hold it in place, but then when you push the boot in to open it it won't pop back out Anyone else had this dilemna in their e36 and know a way of elimnating it? Cheers

What kind of BMW do you have botany? I have an e36 1993 and I've had a look at the original airbox and can see a plug going into the bottom.. Did you have that on yours? Cheers

Looks nice, I want one for myself... So is it a pod filter underneth a heat shield? Does it give you that deep induction sound?

Hah yeh i purposely left the cheapest thing to last. Wanted to get the main things outta the way. I've just got tints done, 35% all round. I wanted to get a glare strip but the tint guy said they can't put one on because of the rear window mounting? Mmmmm there must be a way to get one done.. And clears all round are coming this weekend (red and white newer taillights on back, not the altezza type) Then europlates will be next. Anyway heres a pic, the bonnets real dirty at the mo, needs a trip to washworld
