    Free E30 bits.

Need these gone or else they go in the bin. Some sort of aftermarket exhaust system, single pipe with an aftermarket muffler of some sort. Has a few holes and I have cut it just after the flange- flange was whorrywelded onto the manifold. F/L m20 exhaust manfold, missing 1 stud. Was fine when on car. M20 oil cooler + hoses. Has a leak somewhere, CBF finding where it is. Rear electric window whole assemblies. Shitloads of C/L motors. Standard rubber boot spoiler painted in Diamond Schwarz. Is in good condition, has a small crack. OEM BMW product with stamp. Stack of switches, clips etc. Rear E30 windshield (will have this ready in a week or so) Rear windows and quarter glass (Also be about a week) Anything else just ask, might have it floating around somewhere. Will also happily accept beers for any of the above.

    Still done fairly well.

  4. Clear sides are like $40. Just buy some.
  5. Doesn't make it more awesome.
  6. Would be down in a couple monthsish.
  7. Awesome writeup, thanks Glenn. Here is where I cocked it up. I didn't take my time. I didnt drill right the way to the end of the stud with a 3mm then a 5mm. I didn't use a right angled drill. I didn't use the Wurth product. I DID use cheap crap easy outs. I DID have a stack of beer to drink so therefore DIDN'T take my time. All in all it was a big f**k up and not I have to take the head off. FML
  8. Damn, thought this was going to be a complete the sentence topic, in which case my reply would be fanny farts.
  9. What will not having the stud in there do? Just sound like a tractor?
  10. Will try to get some photos tommorow night. I'm thinking trying a cobalt bit and drilling an 8mm hole and tapping a thread into that? Can I not weld another stud into the hole and grind it so it's as flush as possible, or will it still not be enough and leak too much?
  11. Indeed, found that out. Any other ways of getting it out?
  12. Nope, drop steering linkage and wriggle it in.
  13. Cant get anything into it. Its in the block now. Couldnt help myself today on my lunch break so I said I had "things to do" so got off work for an hour. And did this.
  14. Lol sweet dragon +1. Subscribed.
  15. When you go to do a U turn, do it like it says in the book. Don't know what it is and have never been bothered to check. But it is NOT... Pull over for half a second, make sure theres noone in either lane, full lock and accelerate. That's all I got a cross for. And for the hazard identifying part, just (as said above) point out everything, you won't get failed for saying something is a hazard and it isnt.
  16. Any sweet perks go with it?
  17. Anyone got any bright ideas on how to get it out/get a new one in?
