  1. Had an opportunity arise so this has to go (fairly promptly) unfortunately. Bought it as a rolling she'll around 7 years ago and have since spent every spare dollar I had on it. Ha.

  2. I know this is a bit taboo but what seat cover options are out there? Not the cheap shitter ones (does a non cheap shitty one even exist?)

I'm picking up a brand new ranger on Friday and unlike all my other cars, this doesn't have leather seats so I don't trust myself enough to not spill a drink or pie on the cloth. Also we do about 50000 kms a year so a lot of eating and drinking is done in the car. Not to mention the fishy dive gear/sand etc

Alternatively, is there some kind of spray you can spray them with to provide a barrier and make it easier to wipe sh*t from them?

  3. Put a Fenix ally rad in my mates E30 ( that he had already bought) . The fittings for the blanking caps were welded on the piss so the rubber seal wouldn't seal flat. Also the drain plug leaked/was a piece of sh*t. Pretty much had the same experience as Troy so binned it and went elsewhere.

  4. Lol at Anyyone saying its a way for criminals to put plates on a stolen car/ getaway car.

As if they're going to sit there and order a set of plates which is easilly traced via name/email/ip addy/cc details/whatever else, get them sent to an address that is easily tracked, and have to wait a couple weeks for them to turn up before they go and rob a gas station for $200 worth of cash/ciggys/whatever.

There is no reason we shouldn't be able to run a plate that looks virtually identical to a NZ made one, provided you "own" that rego number. I remember aaaaages ago when germanplates.com had the exact NZ plates font and fern logo. Plates.co.nz quickly put an end to that.
