  2. Hi guy's Last Thursday i had a great trackday(evening) at the famous Zandvoort circuit in the dunes nearby Amsterdam. It was a festival of speed with 1/4 mile races, burnout contests and a lot of car-clubs. Around 5 pm they opened the track for us. It was a nice mix of car's (EVO VI, many Impreza WRX's, many e30's, 2 R34 Skylines, e46 M3, 2 Integra Type R's and some more great stuff. The first few laps i just followed the whole group to see what kind of drivers where in. After 3 laps i started to gained some speed and tried to concentrate on the good lines. First i spended some time behind a Alfa 75 (great car's) but in straight lines it went to slow for me so i passed by. Then i came behind a Subaru Impreza Turbo WRX. Everybody knows that Impreza's have rubbish brakes, so this guy was blocking me for several laps. At some parts he was a littlebit faster, but when the speed gets higher, my Compact was the quiker car. (i was suprised) When i passed him he tried to get back his position with a madman's action. Unbelievable this kind of guy's. Whats in their minds? They think they get points fot it? So another few laps he was blocking me untill he made a mistake and i passed him on a fair way. After that i did not see him anymore, and i was able to concentrate on the lines and speed again. Again i was suprised by the brakes of my car. It's all standard stuff, and even some guy's in special prepared e30's where suprised about my braking power, corner after corner. (my set is now 2 years old with lots of Nurburgring and other circuit km's) After all a great day with great weather. My Pirelli P Zero Nero's behaved very nice so comming Sunday they can proof themself at the legendary Nurburgring again. Cheers, Marcel (don't forget the GP of Monaco!!! )
  3. And what about a tour around the Amsterdam redlight district? Marcel
  4. He! you guys in NZ know about this mad race?A friend of my did the race in a green Bentley Continental T. Awesome car with huge performance. (but not trackday friendly ) Marcel
  5. And a big garage A few months ago, there where some Japanese guy's with rented Nissan Almera/Primera's. (They travelled all over the world for this circuit) They crashed one of the Almera's at Adenaur Forst. (a famous blind corner at the first section of the Nurburgring) The guy's showed up later that day with a new rental car. Marcel

  7. http://nevr2qk.carlc.com/events/031101hst/...ashonlydivx.avi Is this guy sleeping or something? He did not even try to get out of that slide with a full lock. I know for sure that if his reaction was "look where you want to go and a quik steering response" this never happened so dramaticly. Marcel
  8. Hi everyone I went last Sunday for the 6th time this year to the Nordschleife. It was a great day with fantastic weather. I had a almost dead experience at Pflantzgarten when i did a jump sideways at a very high speed with the 323Ti. As you see, i'm still alive. Here's my picture at Brunnchen: http://www.wooo32.de/20040516_NR_NS/images...es/PICT2622.JPG For more picture's at that day check this link: http://www.wooo32.de/20040516_NR_NS/index2.html Greetz, Marcel ze Hollander

  11. Not only Mercedes police cars in Germany. Lot's of e39 and the new e60. Check this police car. The M3 3.2 saloon. To bad, i can't find a real picture. http://www.iol.ie/~donohoer/0BMW_M3_Saloon_Police.htm Gr, Marcel In Holland we had untill the begin '90's Porsche 911 Targa's. 13. It's not easy to gain HP and torque out of a M52 engine. I tried some things with my 323Ti Compact, but wasn't happy at all about the results. The engine is very sensitive for other sparkplugs, airfilters and exhauts. There are options but they will not come cheap. At the moment i have two options in my mind for the Compact. Or i wil put a 2,8L M52 in the car or i will let the guy's of Kelleners look at it. Kelleners will cost me about 6.500,-euro for getting 231bhp. I don't know what i will do. Gr, Marcel
  14. Welcome. Nice colour that e36. Gr, Marcel (from:near Old Zealand)
  15. I love the German Autobahns, Italian Autostrada's, French Autoroute's (Peages) and the Spanish highway's. Last week i was doing 230 km/h (electr.limited ) on the Autobahn from Oberhausen (germany) to Arnhem (Netherlands). I was trying to follow a silver coloured Porsche Carrera 4S, while some big Xenon lights showed up in my mirrors. It was still far away, but in some seconds it was behind me. O.k.....i know i'm no game to this kind of performance, so let the man in his...........................................Audi RS6 Avant pass by. Wrrrooooooooaaaaaahhhhhhmmmmmmmm, there he goes and also passing the the Carrera like it's not there at all. This is Autobahn Porn!!!!!! And i need it every week Gr, Marcel (look at the www.m5board.com site. Lots of vid's)
  16. I agree.I love EVO. (before Performance Car) Gr, Marcel

  19. Stahlblau (german)Steelblue (english, i think?) Here in Europe it's a e46 and e36 323ti Compact colour. I love the colour. especialy when the car did some hours of highspeed German Autobahn's, trackday or Nurburgring kilometers. When the car gets dirty, it looks very nice Gr, Marcel (today DTM starts here in Europe. Any fan's in NZ?)
  20. I don't know how much they did built of this wolf in sheepclothes What i know is that it is you see much more M BMW's then this car. (and only LHD) The 2.5 L 6 cilinder M52 Vanos delivers 170bhp and 245Nm. After the e36 M3 this is the fastest e36 you can buy. I did some test run's against 325i/328i and didn't have any problem to win those. Last week i did a testrun against the new E60 530d (218bhp/500Nm) from a friend of my. Until 110 km/h we stayed very close (with my car a littlebit in front), buter after that i simply walked away from him untill 230 km/u (limited ) My car is fully loaded; -Stahlblau (steelblue) -Limited Sports Edition -Sunroof -Aircon -Black full leather -BMW Business radio with 6 cd in the boot -17" e36 M3 Coupe wheels mk1 (235/40-17) Pirelli P-Zero Nero -16" Cross-spoke with wintertyre's (225/50-16) -BMW Alarmsystem -4x Airbags (2 front/2 in doors) -Z8 gearlever (2 cm lower) -M3 steeringwheel -e39 M5 rearspoiler lip -Xenon HID -US style sidelights at the rear -Sportseats -etc here some picture's with the M3 wheels http://home.planet.nl/~berg8363/register/3.../voor.groot.jpg http://home.planet.nl/~berg8363/register/3...chter.groot.jpg Look at my sticker of the Nordschleife (Nurburgring) at the back of my car!!!! 23. It's everytime like walking on photoshoot of EVO magazine at the parking here. On the 14th there where some very nice cars like the; M3 CSL 2x M3 e46 many times M5 e39 2x AC Cobra 1x Lamborghini Gallardo 1x 996 GT3 many times 996 GT2 2x Lotus Elise 2x Chrysler Viper GTS 1x Corvette C5 1x RS6 Avant 1x Cayenne Turbo 1x Renault Alpine 1x M Coupe 4x etc...... The good news is that the new Ringtaxi this year will be the new e60 V10 M5!!! One problem, it's fully booked this year Greetz Marcel
  24. Just some pics. The first two pics of the 323Ti is my car with snowtyres. (my advise; don't try that at home) The third picture is the 323Ti from a friend of my. (i'm the one who's scared, sitting beside and try to take care of myself ) As you can see, there's still some snow but the most of the 21 km track was dry. There was a huge crash of a Porsche 996 GT2 in my first lap. A good sign that it can be slippery a some places. After all a nice day and not that much traffic. Gr, Marcel white plates with black number/letters are Germans Dutchies will do with yellow plates and black numbers/letters. http://www.nordschleife.nl/chellegers/
