Whats the purpose for the car? fun at the track or enter a race series or re-create a classic race car?

check carefully for rust and the dreaded tin worm problem common on the fron wings - a known problemo

Its really hard to like that CLSII due to the ghastly colour.
Surely that's not a factory paint?
I used to think the grey BMW was the worst colour - that bugger just went to top of the list!
So true - just when you think the Germans have got taste - they do that complete with matching interior!! I think its called the 'lederhosen effect'
-
wonder if it has Traction Control?
Must be an animal!!
-
what about this then? 1 of 2 CLSIIs think one got written off and the other is in Japan somewhere.
-
Get the cap with the (beer) can holders either side and in built straw to the mouth if you want to drive serious and drink, without slopping it about and ending up with smelly (milk) interior - phew!
Otherwise concentrate on the road
just kidding - ive gone from jdm to edm with my e36 recently and can feel the frustration.

"Personally I prefer the AC Schnitzer E36 M3 CLS and CLSII - only about 8 in total in the world I believe"
Yes thats much better - more understated in true E36 M3 stylee.
Didnt Aplina make a B8 version of the E36 or something????

For me I would love to have the BMW Z3 M Coupe for a daily driver - a mate took me for a ride in his in the UK and it blew me away.
Failing that I would drive my E36 M3

the guys at www.twrracing.co.nz often have them. mind you they need to be 20+ years old to be able to put them on the road here - otherwise they are good for track cars only. these guys sell some pretty straight looking ones - mostly black ones I might add.
